Asia Pacific real estate investment rises 19.2% in Q1 2026
Real estate investment in Asia Pacific rose 19.2% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2026, supported by improved investor sentiment, a recovery in office transactions and stronger cross-border capital flows, according to Savills. Prime office investment climbed about 25.7%, led by Tokyo and Singapore, while Singapore recorded S$11.48 billion of Q1 sales, up nearly 95% year-on-year. Industrial, logistics and data centre-linked assets drew capital across the region, with India, Taiwan and Malaysia noted for technology-related and owner-occupied factory deals, while China saw lower volumes even as price corrections attracted some interest.
