Reuters reported that brothers Ali and Mohammad Kharrazi, using the surname Aghamir, built Nobitex into Iran’s dominant cryptocurrency exchange while coming from a family tied to the country’s ruling establishment. The exchange claims 11 million users and handles an estimated 70% of Iran’s crypto transactions.
