Binance partners with BlockShoals to re-enter Philippines
Binance announced a partnership with fintech BlockShoals Technologies to pursue a regulated market entry into the Philippines, naming BlockShoals as the approved local intermediary under the Philippine SEC's Strategic Sandbox (StratBox). Binance said it will provide technology, security, operational and compliance support and expects the sandbox phase to begin in the second half of 2026 and run for at least two years. The announcement follows a National Telecommunications Commission directive that currently blocks Binance after the SEC warned in November 2023 about missing registration and asked the NTC to block the platform in March 2024.
