The Television Academy staged the first two nights of the 78th Emmy Awards at the Peacock Theater to present more than 100 primetime Emmys, previously called the Creative Arts Emmys. The events, which will be edited for broadcast Sept. 12 on FXX and streamed on Hulu, offer top nominees like 'The Pitt' (25 nominations), 'Hacks' (24 nominations), 'Pluribus' and 'Widow's Bay' opportunities to add trophies before the main Sept. 14 ceremony. Major items moved to Sunday include five acting categories, and winners such as Bad Bunny and guest acting nominees will shape attention ahead of the live primetime telecast.
