Falcon and Anchorage launch fUSD institutional stablecoin
Falcon Finance and Anchorage Digital Bank, N.A. launched fUSD, a U.S. dollar payment stablecoin described as GENIUS-ready under the federal payment stablecoin framework enacted 18 July 2025. The coin is issued by Anchorage and supported by cash, short-dated U.S. Treasuries, and Treasury-backed repo, with monthly and annual Deloitte attestations. Rewards are offered by Falcon Finance as a separate program targeting roughly 3% per year and available only to institutional entities under contract. fUSD launches on Ceffu's institutional custody and collateral infrastructure and is not a deposit or FDIC insured.
