Drone attacks struck three tankers in the Black Sea near Turkey's northern coast on Thursday, shipping agency Tribeca said. The Palau-flagged James II, in ballast, was about 50 miles north of the Turkeli area when the incident occurred, while the Sierra Leone-flagged Altura and Velora, also in ballast, were reportedly attacked nearby during a ship-to-ship operation. Coastal safety boats were sent and all crew members were reported in good condition. Neither Moscow nor Kyiv immediately claimed responsibility, and the episode heightens regional maritime security concerns.
