Google's Gemini reaches 1 billion monthly users

Google said its artificial intelligence assistant Gemini has surpassed one billion monthly active users, becoming the fastest-growing product in company history and the 14th Google product to reach that threshold. Google reported that 63 percent of users now speak directly to Gemini, one in five Live interactions use camera or screen sharing, and the platform generates more than 150 million images daily. The company also noted cross-platform growth, with more than 100 million iOS users and higher macOS engagement, and highlighted use cases from students to small businesses creating marketing assets.
